Artist: Wassily Kandinsky
The original painting, "Yellow - red - blue" measures 2 meters wide and was completed in 1925. His use of color and various geometric shapes was very intentional, and he conveyed a connection between emotion and cross sensory experience with his work.
Kandinsky was renowned as a painter and art theorist as well as being recognized as the father, first creator, of purely abstract work.
