    Originally designed by Piet Hein, the Soma Cube is a classic stackable puzzle that disassembles from a 3x3x3 cube into unit pieces that can be restacked as a symmetrical cube.
    The wild success of the Soma puzzle inspired alternate versions, like the 3" chain cube. While it looks very similar to the Soma Cube, it functions quite differently. All the pieces are attached by an inner cord; this allows them to rotate and unwind out of a cube shape, but they stay connected as one moving piece.
