1. Does SeriousPuzzles.com need the photo to be as big as the jigsaw puzzle?
No, it doesn't. The photo you send us will be scanned and then by a digital process we make it fit in the jigsaw puzzle. We will maintain proportionality as the original photo is enlarged.
2. Does SeriousPuzzles.com ever enhance or crop submitted photographs?
If an original picture submitted will not readily convert to the puzzle size that has been ordered without incurring distortion, minimal cropping will likely need to be performed by SeriousPuzzles.com™ to avoid any distortion of the finished photo puzzle.
3. Does SeriousPuzzles.com send the original photo back?
Yes. Your photo puzzle will contain a digital print, and the original photo will be sent back to you with the puzzle..
4. What is the turn-around time for my puzzle order?
Photo puzzle orders are typically manufactured and shipped within 2-7 days of receipt of order/photo. Please add 7-10 days additional during November and December.
Rush Service is also available: If chosen, your custom jigsaw will be shipped within 24hrs of the receipt of your photo. On Fridays, your puzzle will be shipped by Monday.
5. What if I need my puzzle order delivered to me in a hurry?
Express Shipping is available. If chosen, your custom jigsaw will be shipped via USPS Express shipping which is generally overnight, but guaranteed to be no more than two business days.
6. Does SeriousPuzzles.com sell any jigsaw puzzles larger than 11" X 17" - 308 piece puzzle?
No. At this time we do not offer any larger size photo puzzles.
308 pieces or less are the most common sizes for the markets we serve.
7. What if I have a picture that is copyrighted by someone besides me.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all submitted photographs do not violate any copyright laws and/or restrictions. SeriousPuzzles.com will not process any orders that include a photograph with a copyright restriction, without the proper authorization. You may ask your photographer or artist for a release.
8. I do not live in the United States. Can I order a custom jigsaw puzzle from SeriousPuzzles.com?
No, at this time, we only sell our custom jigsaw puzzles domestically.
9. Can I make a puzzle from something other than a photograph?
Yes. You can make a puzzle out of artwork too. Children's artwork turns out great!
Copyrighted artwork must have an authorized release.
