Laysan Albatrosses are very large seabirds that nest in colonies on remote islands in the Pacific Ocean. Although they are extremely graceful when soaring over the ocean, they are clumsy on land and need a stiff wind to take flight. Pairs bond with unique ritual dances that last their entire adult lives. Between breeding seasons, they live independently on the ocean for many months before they return to the island to dance and renew their bonds. After a single egg is laid, they take turns incubating it and feeding the chick. They can live a long life and still breed successfully at 55 years of age.

The picture is beautiful, and the colors are vibrant. I would have liked to have known that the pieces are all cut by a single geometry, so it is more challenging than the picture would suggest.
