While the name, Black Dragon Pool sounds forbidding, it is very much a tranquil pond with historic temples & a marble bridge, plus views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Located in Yunnan Province, tucked between Laos and Vietnam, this area has some of the most beautiful views in China with Lijiang the focal point for any adventure there. The calm waters with the temple and bridge reflecting off of it, make this image of Lijiang a wonderful puzzle. There is so much to work with between the white of the bridge, the distinct shape of the temple and mountain in the background. The sky has a slight color to it that should make it easier to pick the pieces out than a bright blue sky. The trees that line the pond can be formed from the bridge to the temple and mountain to the trees. The main challenge will be the water but the reflections should give clues to piece placement.
